TPI Tuesday – Crane Detected

Object identification based on the high-resolution optical imagery is an important aspect of the CoSMiC-EYE system. These images enable the operators to classify the reported activity from the office and to make a first risk assessment. Today’s TPI-Tuesday shows the detection of a crane based on our Sentinel-1 radar analysis. The high-resolution optical was provided during the reporting to the customer and clearly shows a red crane appearing. The on-site photograph of this event confirms what we could already learn from the satellite imagery. Hence, CoSMiC-EYE is a well-integrated solution in the daily operations of field operators all around the world.
